Mindfulness finds me when I hike. My eyes are on the trail, my ears are attuned to hear danger, but not distracted by it. I don’t worry about how I look or who is watching or what I’ll do if I fall. Instead, I relish the smell of the outdoors and the sound of the ground crunching beneath my feet. I savor the grit of the moment and the sweat on my lip. One footstep, then another, until I’m at the top. Original ink abstract matted in a 1″ wood frame with plexiglass cover. Final product is 11 x 14 and is suitable for table or wall mounted use.
