TEN
Ten paintings.
Ten significant relationships.
Ten distinct emotional and spiritual landscapes.

TEN is an ongoing multi-sensory project exploring the architecture of human connection. Each piece is built through layers of acrylic paints, inks, fluid paints, wax, watercolors, and sometimes all of the above.
Every piece in TEN is a visual portrait of a vital relationship that has shaped my life. Some map profound loves and devastating losses, others map spiritual elements and shared histories. Some look at selfhood, the shifting topography of faith and the sacred.
Every painting in the series is paired with an exclusive, 10-song companion playlist to listen to while you view the work, alongside a full-length essay diving deep into the story behind the canvas.
Six works are complete and currently on display in the gallery below. Four more are in progress, with the next two chapters exploring some of my most raw spaces. This work has been painstaking and long, requiring me to dig into the depths of myself to tell a story and share it with the world.
Explore the completed pieces of TEN below. You can find the playlist and essay excerpt at the links directly below each piece.

What's Next for TEN
TEN is an excrutiatingly painful and beautiful experience; an evolving journey. The next two works currently taking shape in the studio continue the exploration into the depths of big, beautiful emotions:
Jing: A meditation on desire, devotion, and the complicated work of reclaiming what once felt forbidden.
The Long Return: A portrait of heaviness, resilience, and the slow work of finding your way back to solid ground.
